Levels

Dim Sum is mostly a flat UI, but does include a set of shadow styles that provide a discrete approach to dimensionality. Shadows are reserved for objects the user must interact with directly, such as a Modal, Toast Notification or Drop Menu.

There are 6 types which are set to a numeric scale. A lower number refers to objects that appear further from the viewer (smaller shadow), while higher numbers refer to objects that appear closer to the viewer (larger shadow).
